Do you know you have the right fire, fireplace or surround?
The step before fitting your fire, fireplace or surround is exciting – choosing it!
If you have any concerns about either choosing a new fire, fireplace or surround, or if you have not bought one yet then do consider visiting our fire, fireplace and surround showroom in Devon – as we stock a large collection of items made by the most well-known brands in the industry.
Planning the fitting process – does it fit?
Prior to commencement of any work we make sure that the fire, fireplace or surround that is to be fitted is suitable for the location and fit for purpose – and if there are any concerns or suggestions we will make you aware of them in good time.
This really is such an essential stage – as it is all in the planning – and making sure that you have the right fire, fireplace or surround that fits your requirements and fits the room (and home) you wish to install it in is vitally important. It may seem obvious that your chosen fire, fireplace or surround will fit, but it is best to make sure before buying it, in which case checking with us first can be a good idea.

We can also help you with other considerations you may have such as heat output, efficiency, sizing, quality, and so on – so as the first step in fitting your fire, fireplace or surround, speaking to one of our representatives in our showroom will ensure that when it comes to fitting it, it will be exactly what you want, and what you need.
At Simon Turner we make sure to provide you with professional guidance so that you are able to select the right item for your home.
No one likes hidden extras
In addition to fitting your fire, fireplace or surround we make sure that all additional required extra work (such as joinery, brickwork, skirting, plastering, liner fitting, chimney sweeps, flue upgrades etc) is carried out – and nine times out of ten an initial site survey will identify anything additional that is required, in which case there would rarely be any hidden costly surprises.
When our fire, fireplace and surround fitters are working they always lay sheets, take care of your flooring or carpets and always remove waste and rubble leaving your home as they found it (apart from the new fireplace of course!).
Wherever possible, we encourage you to be present during the fitting service so you can check you are happy with the work being carried out by our fitters and we can make any changes that you may require.
