Bathroom Re-Fitting
A home survey was completed to help the customers choose the most appropriate fixtures and fittings to make the most of the limited room available.
Work commenced with both rooms being completely stripped of the original sanitary fittings, flooring and tiling. Once this had been done the new pipework and electrics were installed ready for the new bath, toilets, sinks, and showers. Customers had also opted to have LED ceiling lights fitted, a LED lit mirror and shaver point, and extractor fan.
The bathroom shower is by Mira and is the model Coda and has two shower heads. This enables you to have a high fitting fixed large shower head and a smaller one on a hose that can be removed from its housing to, for example, wash your hair.
The main part of the bathroom is tiled in traditional tiles by BTC with the shower area fitted with a wall panel by Nuance in Sparkle White. These panels are easier to keep clean in a shower area as there is no grouting.
The bathroom floor was fitted with Aqua Step flooring which is available in a range of different finishes.
The bathroom toilet and basin unit is from Tavistock Bathrooms and is excellent for a small space and has the added bonus of a storage cupboard under the basin instead of a pedestal.
The shower room was fitted out in a similar style using the same type of tiles, shower panel and flooring. Also customers had opted to have a Mira Coda two head shower in this room too. Space limitations meant that a separate toilet and basin unit were fitted and both of these were supplied by Tavistock Bathrooms. Both rooms were fitted with chrome towel radiators and illuminated mirrors.
The finished rooms have really transformed our customers’ property and they are really pleased with their updated rooms which both look good and have fixtures that are a joy to use.
