Nothing beats the cosy look and feel of a wood burning stove, however they do require a bit of effort regarding cleaning and sourcing wood to burn. There are now gas stoves on the market which look just like the real thing, are clean to use and provide constant warmth – so if you’re interested in replacing a wood burning stove with a gas stove then read on!
We recently had customers visit our showrooms as they were thinking of replacing their wood burning stove with a gas one.
After looking at our showroom displays and discussing what may be suitable for their home, arrangements were made for an engineer to visit their property to check their existing fireplace and chimney would be suitable and whether any further building works would be required.
The customers wanted to retain their existing fireplace and beam, so we just installed a new chimney liner and a Fireline FXP gas stove. Fireline Gas Stoves are supplied from Charlton and Jenrick and their up-to-date brochure can be downloaded and viewed here.
The customers were very satisfied with the final result and we are proud to have completed another gas fire project locally here in Devon.
Please have a look over the other fire installation blogs on the website, and of course get in touch by using the form below or visiting us at our showrooms here in Exmouth if you would like to speak to us about a new gas fire and fireplace for your property.
